Collaboration with Sofas & Stuff on a beautiful stand at DECOREX
A match made in heaven, two treasured West Sussex brands, who both offer the finest handcrafted, home furnishing products; joined forces on a shared stand at Decorex, in a celebration of traditional Indian culture, design and craftsmanship.

Concept
The Decorex stand collaboration came about through the realised cross over in brand product alignment. The new Sofas & Stuff ‘Threads of India Opulent Velvets’ fabric collection - which was created in partnership with the V&A and our our own large collection of beautiful Indian rugs.
We were thrilled to attend Decorex for the first time, and in such great company. It’s a wonderful opportunity for us to showcase our products alongside such a well established and regarded brand, with a strong, common theme running through our story'.

Design and inspiration
A celebration of Indian design created for modern interiors
The Sofas & Stuff fabric designs are inspired by South Asian objects in the V&A’s magnificent collection. These tactile upholstery fabrics beautifully blend Mughal and Indian artistry with contemporary design, infusing modern interiors with cultural richness and artisanal excellence.
Our rugs are also Inspired by old designs, but like the fabric collection, reimagined in scale and colour by the younger generations of weavers, these rugs are at the heart of Rugs of Petworth's 'Modern Classics', signature style. They have been developed to suit the styles and trends of the modern world, introducing more pared back details and softer colours, while maintaining the rich integrity of their origin.

Rugs on display on the stand
The rugs on display on the Sofas & Stuff stand, at Decorex, include a pair of soft, neutral Agra rugs together with a wonderfully vibrant Bhadohi rug, which harks back to the classic rich colours of the beautiful antique rugs from days gone by. The collaboration as a whole is a delightful fusion of old and new, celebrated by both brands, who compliment each other so well and speak the same language
